Under the realistic background that China has already entered the WTO, thedomestic and the international construction markets have already realized theseamless connection basically with the development of information globalization andworld economic integration. Meanwhile, facing the competition of those advancedenterprises all over the world, it is necessary for the domestic construction companiesto improve the level of management continuously in order to survive in the fiercerconstruction market. As construction projects is a complex engineering systems, the quality, duration, cost and other relevant factors are taken into consideration during the implementationprocess. In order to draw a scientific and practical scheme, it needs to consider themutually inter-restricted and promotive relationship among the factors dialectically. With the support of mathematical optimization method, the analysis in this paper isdone from the point of view of control theory, decision theory and multi-attributedecision. The central content of the paper is as follows:Firstly, the background of the research on multi-attribute decision of constructionmanagement is discussed in this paper. Meanwhile it introduces the current studysituation and the contents and methods of the research.Secondly, it analyses the quality, cost, progress schedule, safety and elements ofthe resource environment theoretically, and summarizes the decision theory used inthis paper.Thirdly, the model of the multi-attribute decision of construction managementbased on Coordination Theory is built with the use of coordination among quality, cost, duration, safety and the resource environment.Fourthly, the decision-making of building construction is built by means that themodified TOPSIS (ideal point method) method, with the Determine combinationassigning method. Finally, the researches on engineering cases have verified the feasibility a ndscientificity of the model built in this work. The result shows that the management technology must be improved withoutdelay as there are many problems among the factors such as cost, schedule, andquality in the increasingly fierce marketing environment. The multi-attribute decision built in this paper therefore provides a feasible solution for this, which the theory ofmultiple attribute decision making is innovatively used, and the error caused in onlyonly subjective or objective trade-offs arising from errors can be corrected byDetermine combination assigning method, and the modified TOPSIS is used in themulti-attribute decision model of the construction project management.
