Highway transportation is one of the important parts of traffic and transportation.The expressway plays a vital role in the national economy and people's life.In the planning and design stage of the expressway,the selection of the route scheme is particularly critical.The selection of expressway route scheme is restricted by many conditions,which is a fuzzy multiple attribute decision-making(FMADM)problem.The FTOPSIS method is a typical fuzzy multiple attribute decision-making method.However,the expressway construction has the characteristics of large project,high cost and wide influence.Any decision information given by the decision makers may have a great influence on the project.The FTOPSIS method can not meet the decision needs of the route scheme.Therefore,this study set up a FTOPSIS method which can reflect the decision information significantly.Based on this method,the selection of expressway route schemes were studied.First,the selection of route scheme for the Lotus Hill section in the Chao Hui expressway was selected as the case in this study.Through the analysis of the construction conditions and the route scheme situations of the Lotus Hill section,the evaluation indexes were selected.And then the evaluation system was constructed and the mathematical model was established.Three experts were asked to use the fuzzy linguistic variables given by the study to make a decision on this case,and use the FTOPSIS method for the calculation of the route comparison of the Lotus Hill section.The relative closeness of each scheme and the ranking of the route schemes under the FTOPSIS method were obtained.Secondly,in order to overcome the defects of fuzzy information retention in FTOPSIS method,A-FTOPSIS method was carried out to make decisions for the case in this study again.Unlike the FTOPSIS method which obtains the point estimation for the relative closeness,the A-FTOPSIS method introduces the concept of ?-cut level set,and obtains the exact fuzzy estimate of relative closeness,so as to obtain more accurate,effective and comprehensive decision results.Then,in view of the characteristics of the expressway route scheme selection problem,the weight algorithm based on triangular fuzzy number was construct ed using the calculation principles of FTOPSIS and A-FTOPSIS method.The F-FTOPSIS method was further established.The specific calculation steps of the F-FTOPSIS method ware given,and the application and analysis of this method were also carried out.Finally,the results of FTOPSIS,A-FTOPSIS and F-FTOPSIS were compared and analyzed.The consistency and distinction of the results were discussed and the optimal route scheme was determined.The confidence level analysis,weight sensitivity analysis and applicability analysis of the three methods were given,with respect to the corresponding applicable conditions of each method.The result shows that the F-FTOPSIS method has a more significant ability to reflect the pros and cons,the confidence level and the weight of the route scheme.
