Autoclaved fly ash bricks because of its flexible choice of raw materials,correspond with meeting national requirements of" Land-saving","Energy-saving","Waste utilization",therefore Autoclaved fly ash bricks are the ideal wall materials to wall innovation and replace the traditionalclay fired bricks. To make autoclaved fly ash bricks further promotion,this paper studies the seismic capability of the autoclaved fly ash bricksmasonry structure.Firstly,by using pseudo static test research method,we studies wall pieceswith the level of reinforced and structural columns constraint autoclaved flyash bricks. The result shows that the integrity of constraint autoclaved fly ashbrick wall piece is good,bearing capacity and ductility have increased,thelatter is more obvious. Bearing capacity gradually increased with theincreasing the reinforcement ratio and vertical stress, With the level ofreinforced autoclaved fly ash brick wall.The intermediate structural columnhas a great contribution to wall of bearing capacity which has the structuralcolumns,a significant effect on ductility of the wall is the structural columnspacing,the smaller spacing,the better ductility. However,it ‘s different inconstraint autoclaved fly ash brick wall piece with two structural measures.The level of reinforced wall has a full hysteresis curve and better energydissipation capacity.There is a obvious hysteresis curve " pinch "phenomenon with the structural column wall,the energy dissipation capacityis relatively poor.Ductility with structural column walls are better than thelevel reinforced walls, reflecting the good collapse resistance, especiallystructural column spacing smaller wall piece.Secondly,we conducted actual structure model of nonlinear seismicresponse analysis. This article simulates three structures which are based on aseven-story residential in Jiangyou XinNanyuan District Building3.Thesethree typical structures are unreinforced masonry structure,the level ofreinforced and with structural columns. By using a nonlinear time-historyanalysis method and chosen representative20earthquake records inWenchuan earthquake,a great number of nonlinear seismic response analysesof three typical masonry structures with the autoclaved fly ash bricks areperformed respectively. Through analysis and comparison,the preliminarydraw the following conclusions:1.By this calculation results of structure1compared with the actualdamage,we can see good agreement between the two confirms in selectionmodel which is feasible and reasonable calculation.2.Constraint autoclaved fly ash bricks masonry compared to unreinforcedautoclaved fly ash bricks masonry,reflected a good seismicperformance,especially the ability of anti-collapse is much better than unreinforced autoclaved fly ash bricks masonry.Which has structural columnswall seismic slightly better than with the level of reinforcement wall. Alsocan be considered that ensuring the ductility of the structure is superior toimprove the structure of the energy dissipation capacity for the masonrystructure.3.Site conditions and ground motion characteristics are closely related tothe structure reactions. Therefore the response of the structure is significantlylarger,seismic records on the rock due to the more high frequencycomponents.
