Self-help escape was the major method of life-saving when the submarine waswrecked. While the fast buoyancy ascent escape means as the most advanced, mostsecure, most widely used self-help escape way, has been applied widely in Britain,Amercia and other developed countries.The article design and reseach escape tube of the floating escape device based onmechanical principles, mechanical design, mechanics of materials, elastic-plasticmechanics theory, using ANSYS finite element analysis, ADAMS virtual prototypetechnology and other research methods, and combining with the pressure vessel designcriteria. The article mainly included the following sections.(1) According to the functional requirements and technical parameters of the fastbuoyancy ascent escape means demand for the escape tube of the floating escape device,the overall design of the system has been formulated. And designed the overall structureof the escape tube reasonably following from the design criteria of the pressure vessel.(2) The three-dimentional model of the structure of the escape tube has beenestablished by the Pro/E software, and the model has been imported into the ANSYSfinite element analysis software, the ANSYS finite element analysis of the edge stress ofthe escape tube has been accomplished, got been necessary for the stress and straindistribution nephogram intuitively.(3) The upper cover opening mechanism of the escape tube has been designed, andthe theoretical analysis of the opening gear drive has been made. The analysis resultrevised a few of important parameters, indicates when the addendum coefficient isadjusted h*a=0.7, the pressure angle is adjustedα=150, modification coefficient isadjusted x1=0.5, x2=0.5, the anti-wear and the ability of anti-broken teeth of thegear wheel for the opening gear drive are improved, the life span of the gear wheel hasbeen extended. Furthermore, the friction loss has been reduced and the efficiency of thegear drive has been imoroved.(4) Establish3D model of the upper cover opening mechanism of the escape tubeby the Pro/E software, and the model has been imported into the mechanical kineticsanalysis software ADAMS, the dynamics simulation of the cover opening process ofescape tube has been accomplished.The results analyzed the end cover of the motionand change and influence factors about the cover opening process of escape tube.In the end, the article summarized the main research job and put forward theoutlook of the next step research.
