Being compressed as fuel to be burned is one of the important uses of biomass. Most of the traditional biomass compressors use hydraulic molding technology, which is of high price and may lead to leakage and environment pollution. While mechanical connecting rod type compressor which characterized as small, simple in structure, convenient in maintenance and so on can meet market requirements such as miniaturization, mobility, etc.In this paper, based on multi inputs and single output technology, a new type of connecting rod biomass fuel compressor is designed and studied. Then structural design, kinematics analysis, static analysis, parametric finite element analysis and so on, are carried out. The detailed contents and the innovations are listed as follows:1) The scheme of the biomass fuel compressor is put forward. The biomass fuel compressor design goal is put forward through the analysis of prototyping properties. The final scheme-electric push rod as power supply, the symmetric connecting rod as increase force institutions, is selected through analyzing and comparing the double servo motor synchronous driving scheme and more push rods synchronous driving scheme synchronization. The input and output relationship of mechanism are acquired by analyzing dynamics and statics of the symmetric linkage mechanism. The effects of the design parameters on performance of mechanism are studied by MATLAB, as provide the basis for optimizing mechanism parameters.2) According to partical swarm optimization method, the optimization design of the biomass fuel compressor is accomplished. The mechanism increase force ratio and the dynamic load coefficient model of frame member are established. Mechanism increase force ratio as big as possible, the force in pole as small as possible which is in the process of stamping are the optimization projects. Because of simple operation and fast speed, particle swarm optimization algorithm is used as optimal algorithm in this research. The mechanism is optimized based on program by using MATLAB to determine reasonable structure parameters and the optimization results are verified.3) The performance of the biomass fuel compressor is analysized. Analyze motion characteristics of biomass fuel compressor, through the kinematics simulation by using ADMAS. In order to improve whole machine’s strength and stability, the connecting rod, frame and other important parts are analysized by using ANSYS. According to the stress of frame and parts, the modify solutions are proposed to determine components’shape structure. Finally the technical parameters of biomass fuel compressor are determined by theoretic analysis and simulation using ADMASSimulation results show that compared with the existing biomass compressor, the new compressor is a valuable expansion of technology, with the advantages of energy conservation, environmental protection and light reliable.
