The pipe network pressure-superposed water supply is also known as negative pressure water supply, it is made up of pump unit, control cabinet, pressure limiting protection device, piping systems, etc. The advantage is that can take full of remaining pressure of urban pipe network to reduce the energy consumption and the secondary pollution of water.The time of pressure-superposed water supply technology development in our country is relatively short, although there are a number of industry and local regulations, the domestic market is chaotic, pressure-superposed water supply system (equipment) is also mixed. There are not uniform standards and norms, the market did not reach the survival of the fittest. Therefore, the optimal design in real terms is to find a reasonable standard, optimization, and software the way. So, in order to change this situation, the research of optimal design software and control system of the pressure-superposed water supply is quite significant.The purpose of this paper is on the basis of existing projects from the existing techniques and theories, the practice of research results to find out the existing problems, and effective analysis, compared to the algorithms, optimization, establishing the new program of optimal design of the system, algorithms, to the program conducting modular processing and system packaging, with VB6.0and SQL2000, so that becomes automatic optimal design software. The software includes six modules:basic design parameters, pump-selection, checking of the working conditions, preparation of design specifications, pumps product database, help; in order to improve the design efficiency and accuracy, to achieve the desired goal of promotion and product. This software is developed specifically for the design of the pressure-superposed water supply system, operated under the guidance of the way of human-computer interaction, so that the operator can smoothly and efficiently complete the design of the pressure-superposed water supply system.In this paper, because of the characteristics of pressure-superposed water supply control systems, design rule of the control system for the benchmark, focused study on the control principle of the pressure-superposed water supply, tracking deviation of the pressure and set pressure of the pipe network real-time, PLC control frequency and power frequency switching, pump motor speed and the number of input units, achieve closed-loop automatically adjust the constant pressure water supply, in order to attain the purpose of flow control, establish the optimal control plan, conducting a reasonable selection of hardware devices, determining the means of communication, the composition of the control system analyzing and system programming.Finally, this software and control system is applied to actual projects, testing its performance, in order to comprehensive and accurate assessment of the accuracy, functionality and scope of the optimal design.
