Considering the pivot position of Hohhot power grid in Inner Mongolia region, the electric power dispatch automation system of Hohhot power grid plays an important role in Inner Mongolia power grid of operation, management and decision-making, and has become an indispensable mean to ensure the safety, high quality and economic operation of Inner Mongolia power grid. However, with the rapid development of Hohhot power grid construction and the increasing requirment for electric power dispatch automation system, the existing one in Hohhot power grid has failed to meet the basic requirement of smart grid construction. Therefore, it is of great practical significance to research the integration of Hohhot power grid dispatching and supervisory control. It will comprehensively raise the control ability of power grid dispatching system and the systematicness, security, stability of integration of dispatching and supervisory control in operation and management mode.This paper first briefly summarizes the current situation and main problems of the electric power dispatching automation system in Hohhot power grid, and then analyzes the necessity and feasibility of system upgrading.Secondly, from design requirements, management model, system architecture, software architecture, functions and system capacity aspects, one overall design scheme of the integration of Hohhot power grid dispatching and supervisory control is established. Thirdly, using the software engineering idea of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and the idea of enterprise application integration (EAI), a power enterprise service bus (Power ESB) is designed, and then one corresponding system support platform is constructed, which consists of distributed system management, commercial database management software, real-time database management, distributed man-machine system, system security, key technology of application and etc. Fourthly, according to the overall design scheme of the integration of dispatching and supervisory control, the hardware configuration list and software configuration list for system upgrading are listed. Finally, the application and implementation effect of the proposed design scheme of the integration of dispatching and supervisory control in Hohhot power grid is summarized.
