The partial discharge is a harbinger of the cable insulation failure, the effective detection of partial discharge is an important way to improve the status of cable maintenance level. The OWTS partial discharge detection technology is an emerging in recent years cable defect detection technology that can effectively detect and point of failure for precise positioning of on-site cable partial discharge.Currently, the use of10kV cable OWTS partial discharge detection system, there are two key technical issues, interference in the process of partial discharge detection, and identification of the type of partial discharge defects. First, in order to meet the portability requirements under field test conditions, OWTS partial discharge detection system will be oscillating high pressure part and partial discharge detection part of the integration as a whole, strong power system electromagnetic interference problems, especially for weak systems, resulting in localized discharge detection sensitivity is low.
