Research On Optimization Of Planning And Design For Commercial Pedestrian Street Parking Facilities

With the arrival of the private car era and the rapid development of commercialpedestrian stree, the way people travel has changed considerable, more and more car shoppingfamily, prompting the city commercial pedestrian street parking problem has becomeincreasingly prominent. Therefore, to improve the status of the city commercial pedestrianstreet parking facilities has become a work that can not be ignored.On the basis of the summary of existing research results, the article has given fieldinvestigations to Beijing Wangfujing Commercial Pedestrian Street and Qianmen Streetparking facilities, to have a comprehensive grasp to the supply and use of parking facilities.The article also has statistical analyzes to parking facilities related aspects combined with thequestionnaire survey. Finally, the article obtains somes problems on the city commercialpedestrian street parking facilities in it’s supply and demand, planning layout, space design,and parking management.Based on the existing problems, the article analyzes respectively on the various aspectsinfluence of the city commercial pedestrian street parking facilities from three respects of thetraffic environment, parking behavior,and the relationship between supply and demand.Based on the existing problems, the article from a planning perspective discusses thesetting principles of road-outside public parking facilities, road-inside public parking facilitiesand parking facilities. Combined with the above principles, the article gives the optimizationsuggestion to the parking facilities of Wangfujing Commercial Pedestrian Street and QianmenStreet.Based on the existing problems, the article from a design perspective makes research tothe optimal design strategy and the parking space optimization design of the commercialpedestrian street parking facilities. The article also combined with the current situation of theWangfujing Commercial Pedestrian Street and Qianmen Street parking facilities to give thecorresponding optimization tips.
