Based On The Theory Of Semiotics In Space Analysis Of Mentougou Mountain Village

Traditional villages is an unique human landscape which is generated by the harmoniouscoexistence of man and nature taking thousands of years. Buildings, courtyards, streets andeven village space contains a certain meaning, and they serve as a village’s unique symbolindicative of some things, represented the village culture and connotation. This articleattempts from the perspective of semiotics, find out the symbols which made up the village,and analysis the relation of each symbol meaning, explore the relationship of conposition ofevery symbol, research more about the villageconposition, and get the deep meaning of thevillage. The focus of this paper is through the village symbol researching village culture, andstudying the relationg of the village space and people and village culture.This paper is divided into five chapters, the first chapter is the introduction. Mainlyintroduced some problems such as the background and meaning of thesis writing, alsoincluding involves research methods and thesis framework in the writing process. The secondchapter: Mentougou mountain village symbol generating regional characteristics. Primaryanalysis on some influencing factors that generated Mentougou mountain village symbol andput forward the village contains three types of signs. The third chapter: Analytic graphicsymbols of Mentougou mountain villages. Classified analysis on the graphic features in thecourtyard, streets and squares in Mentougou mountain villages, obtain preliminaryunderstanding and cognition to the village. The fourth chapter: Analytic space symbols ofMentougou mountain villages. Through analysis on three village space symbols of" point","line" and" face" to get a further understanding of village space construction. The fifth chapter:Analytic human and culture symbols of Mentougou mountain villages. From the village ofdominant human and culture symbol and recessive human and culture symbol of two respectsproceed with, through analyzing the village human and culture symbol finally obtain thevillage space cognition, understand the relation between the village construction and peopleand the village culture.The first and the second chapter is the theoretic investigation and research section. Third,four or five chapter is the key chapter, were aimed at two-dimensional, three-dimensional andfour-dimensional symbol in Mentougou mountain village. That is to say, it is analyzing on thegraphic symbols, the space symbols and the human and cultural symbols.
