Research On The Design Of Public Safety Incident Emergency Symbol

Graphics symbol system is the graphics language of information expression, it plays a very important role in information expressing and transmitting. Along with the foundation of public safety management institution, the consummation of public safety management mechanism, the public safety incident emergency information system has been set up, the public safety joint emergency response platform is the important part of this information system. Public Safety Incident Joint Emergency Response Operational Picture is the display usage of this platform, and public safety incident emergency symbol signing and painting it. But no standardization of public safety Incident emergency symbol makes the public safety incident emergency disposing operational picture's mapping and its application very inconvenient, so the study of public safety incident emergency symbol system is imperative. Therefore, this paper makes a pilot study on the construction of public safety incident emergency symbol system.The research work mainly includes the following aspects:(1) This paper researches the theory base of public safety incident emergency symbol, analyses the infection of vision recept,information transmitting and esthetics theory in symbol designing.,and advances vision variable and visual perceptual effect of the public safety incident emergency symbols.(2) On the base of analyzing and generalizing recent public safety incident emergency symbol relational symbol standard and criterion, the principle of constructing public safety incident emergency symbol system was advanced, classifying and coding the public safety incident emergency symbol founds a public safety incident emergency symbol system, and public safety incident emergency symbol system tables was been set up.(3) On the base of analyzing a few representative graphics symbols'symbol design principium and symbol designing, the author summarizes public safety incident emergency symbol's characteristic and designing principle, advances public safety incident emergency symbol'symbol design principium, and introduces the use of the public safety incident emergency symbols.(4) Analyzing recent ways of founding symbol database, a design scheme of public safety incident emergency symbol database combining many symbol design methods was advanced, and public safety incident emergency symbol database's storage and transfer was achieved successfully.At last, the author summarized the research results and put forward the existing problems to further study.
