Military plot is an important method that is useful for studying out military document, expressing the determination of commander, recording the situation of battlefield, reflecting the state of the war, organizing and commanding the war and summarizing experience from the war. Under the condition of high-tech war, computer aided military plot has been an important part of automatic commanding.The first presented in this thesis is the Unified Modeling Language (UML), by analyzing its characteristic in technology application the design of the military plot system is given. This thesis also does research on planar geometry transform, deducts transform formula used in the application of military symbols, at the same time, give out the method of the coordination transform between longitude and latitude and computer screen. On the basis of the relative technology above it presents a framework of plot system used in naval battle and designs the UML model representing the static and dynamic character of system from different views, therefore complete the design of system software. It also provides relative details in documents.At the end of the thesis, based on the UML model, it presents the design and realization of the plot system used in naval battle and also the example of the software's application.The plot system used in naval battle, whose display background is the electronic navigational chart, designed and realized in this thesis can reduce the complexity of the plot efficiently and improve the efficiency of plot and the level of automation. The software is wroth spreading and using.
