| In recent years,with the development of tourism industry,tourism cartography has gradually come into people’s vision.Due to its special design concept and form,tourism cartography has many factors in map design that cannot follow the results of traditional cartography research,especially symbol design,because it needs to consider the culture of scenic spots and the emotional factors of tourists.The design of tourist map symbols should be further explored on the basis of the original map semiotics.For a long time,there have been a lot of problems such as reading difficulties,poor visual effects,lack of professionalism,and weak limitations in the study of map symbolization.At present,there are few reasonable,comprehensive and systematic map symbol libraries.Especially in the thematic maps of tourist areas,the lack of universality,sharing and comprehensiveness of map symbol libraries is more obvious.Carry out a more in-depth and detailed study on map symbolization,and design a system of full-vector tourism thematic map symbol library,and complete the design and optimization of tourism map on this basis:(1)Based on the analysis of the traditional map semiotics theory and the development of tourism cartography,the development trend of modern tourism map and its related symbol design is summarized and classified,and some common features of existing tourist attractions are summarized.On this basis,the abstract features of tourist attraction symbols are integrated and classified.(2)Design a multi-detail level symbol design 2D and 3D thematic dynamic symbol library based on the element method and LOD thought,divide the same type of ground objects into multi-levels according to the macroscopic degree of the observer’s perspective,establish the multi-level representation of symbols from the abstract level to the concrete level,and carry out detailed enhancement design of 3D symbols.(3)Design a symbol library management tool based on MATLAB.In view of the problems such as single notation,lack of individuation and complicated steps of annotation class symbols,establish a custom generator that takes into account individuation of annotation class symbols,reduce repeated steps in the design process of annotation and annotation class symbols,and quickly generate personalized SVG vector annotation symbols.(4)Aiming at the problem of symbol puncture caused by small ups and downs when rendering 3D road symbols in DEM topographic map,the function of smoothing DEM dizzy map route is added to the symbol library management tool.(5)Based on the common features of scenic spots in historical cultural scenic spots,a garden scenic spot is taken as a case study to study the common features of architectural attractions in some ancient cities and Soviet gardens,analyze the characteristics and similarities of different buildings in the same cultural area,and design 3D dynamic symbols in Blender based on the representation of visual variables and enhance the details.To sum up,this paper will design and optimize tourism map symbols at various levels of detail according to the characteristics and needs of special maps of tourist attractions. |
