Based on the theoretical analysis, this dissertation proposed some energy-saving measures for frame systems in conventional wood drying equipment. The enegry consumption in wood drying kiln was reduced. The drying equipment energy performance was raised. In order to achieve energy-saving, we should increase equipment performance, the condition is ensuring the necessary mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.This paper analyses the existing frame of wood dryin shell structure and its thermal insulation effect.For shell temperature field analysis analyzed through heat transfer theory,find out the reasons of serious heat loss of frame.This paper proposed composite frame structure.According to various factors of the thermal resistance material,choosed two kinds of suitable thermal resistant material for composite frame structure.The optimal thickness of thermal resistant material,which was analyzed practical combined with pratical,were displayed. According to the thermal resistance at positions of the frame and the kind of thermal resistance,designed eight schemes.Eight test specimens were processed according to the design of the composite frame structure.in addition to an existing drying kiln frame structure test specimen was processed. All specimens simulated respectively wood drying kiln process using the wood drying oven,and tested the heat loss. The study analyzed result and compared insulation performance of different composite frame structure. The results showded:compared with energy consumption of the traditional frame structure wood drying kiln, the most remarkable optimized compound frame structure of the drying kiln reduced by88.30%,total heat consumed in the drying process reduced by2.96%. The weakest remarkable optimized compound frame structure of the drying kiln reduce by13.47%, total heat consumed in the drying process reduced by0.32%. The paper did economic analysis of optimized compound frame structure of the drying kiln, the result show that optimized compound frame structure of drying kiln is not only lower costa.the important is the heat loss will reduce effectively.
