In2010, the production and sales of automobile in China is both more than18million, ranked top one in the world, Market in China is excellent. The internationalfinancial crisis caused great influence to the development of the global car industry,but also further stimulated the industrialization process of new energy vehicles. Inorder to adapt to the trend of energy conservation and emission reduction, allcountries over the world pay more attention to new energy vehicles obviously. Newenergy vehicle development policy in China is also introduced gradually, under therelated policy, the development of new energy vehicles is increasingly rapid,especially a hybrid car.The complex information has been more and more equipped to the car. Asinformation display terminals, the instrument cluster in addition to be able to providea large, complex information, but also must have high precision and high reliability, atthe same time, meet multi-purpose function, shape design, artistic, and high degree offreedom, lightweight, etc. So intelligent instrument will become the new trend ofdevelopment of modern automobile, and have wide development space.This paper had taken the method of combining the theoretical research andsimulation to improve intelligent of a hybrid car instrument, comprehensiveinformation and bus capacity, for the existing issues including single limited, lowaccuracy and low reliability, a car instrument based on CAN bus and OSEK systemwas introduced.This thesis proposes the instrument system design summary and overall scheme,and the realization of each module according to user’s requirement. And thenanalyzes CAN bus system in the application of the car instrument, and points out thatthe communication way among the electronic control unit is from the previousmultifarious harness to bus, analyzes the characteristics of CAN bus and the realization of the application layer protocol. Then introduces the osCAN operatingsystem based on OSEK standard, analyzes the mechanism, and transplant to theinstrument system. At last this paper focuses on the simulation test for instrumentsystem, create CANoe simulation platform according to the specific test requirementat more stage of the simulation and test.This topic has some of the academic value and application prospect for exploringnew methods of intelligent auto meter, improving the various performance of carinstrument, promoting the development of instrument technology.
