In the process of information interaction between the driver and the vehicle, the vehicle instrument is a very important interface and display interface, which plays an important role in driving the car. In recent years, with the development of the mechanical system structure and the electronic technology, the information quantity of the automobile instrument panel is increasing. The traditional mechanical pointer type instrument is unable to meet the requirements of the existing data transmission. A vehicle instrument control system based on Controller area network bus overcomes the shortcomings of the traditional instrument, which can be realized by programming the complex parameters of the car.On the basis of studying the CAN bus technology theory, through the analysis of the functional requirements of the automobile instrument, the thesis establishes the network structure diagram of the instrument system, and uses the Matlab/Simulink platform to establish the algorithm model of each node, and realizes the control and test of the real instrument system. At the same time, the design of the vehicle virtual instrument system is realized by using CANoe tools. In view of the real CAN network system, the system is modeled by the virtual instrument system. Based on this, several real nodes are introduced into the virtual system, and the feasibility of the system is verified by experiments. The main work of this thesis is as follows:(1) According to the characteristics of the vehicle network technology and network transmission mode, combined with the evolution of the car body structure, automotive electronic technology, automotive instrumentation system development status at home and abroad, summed up the future development trend of the instrument control system. The CAN bus transfer protocol is deeply studied, the main contents include the layered structure of CAN network, networking mode and CAN packet data frame format.(2) Through the use of the classic V type of product development process, according to the laboratory hardware controller, the instrument control system network structure is established, in the final program, on the basis of the instrument system control mode design. Software design is mainly the control algorithm design of the ECU node, including the engine management control system EMS, vehicle control unit VCU and transmission control unit TCU.(3) In the development of CANoe, the operating interface of the visual instrument system is designed, and the current value of the message information can be viewed in real time. In this thesis, a real CAN network control system is designed. The test platform of the system is built by VN1610, and the function of the manual control and automatic control of the instrument control system is tested. The results of the test show that the instrument control system can reflect the working condition of the vehicle in real time, and has good portability and meet the design requirements.This thesis studies the CAN network instrument control system to provide a good example for the development of the vehicle with the instrument system.
