The rotor as an important part, in the mechanical system, its unbalance is the result of equipment noises, vibration, especially in a high-speed rotating machinery. The accident caused by Rotor unbalance take up about60%of mechanical accident. With the development of current precision numerical control machining technology,it is even more necessary to achieve higher vibrating balance, which is closely related with machining precision. There are two abnormal balancing methods:balancing on the balancing machine and field balancing.This paper describes in detail the origin and classifications of unbalance, unbalance correction and field dynamic balancing technology.By researching Dynamic Balance technology, designed a Field Dynamic Balancing Instrument including a data acquisition box and master which separate from each other.FPGA as the core of data collection controls data acquisition and signal transmission;master using graphical programming software LabVIEW, to achieve the signal spectrum analysis, phase and amplitude’s acquisition and balancing calculations.Different from the traditional dynamic balancing instruments, this paper combined the technique of virtual instruments with that of field whole machine dynamic balancing, and a set of dynamic-balancing measuring and test instruments on technique of VI was developed by LabVIEW.Compared to the traditional dynamic balancing instruments,this instruments has the more friendly soft panel,and can be used more conveniently.At last, summarize the paper work and some suggestions are posed for future research.
