Regenerative braking through the control and generating device stores the inertiakinetic energy which is produced when braking, achieving the energy reuse when thevehicle in the reboot or accelerating. It not only reduces the traditional brake frictionheat loss, improves the brake thermal decline, but also the recovery of energy can beused to extend the range of electric vehicles. Based on current energy environmentalprotection and electric vehicle development bottleneck as background, for the target ofelectric automobile energy saving and extended mileage, the research combined withABS.This paper takes Changan Mini pure electric vehicle as the prototype vehicle ofdata modeling, uses the fuzzy control algorithm to distribute the mechanical brakingand the regenerative braking torque distribution, at the same time realize the energyrecovery, the algorithm is better than the software itself was validated in the Advisorsimulation environment. In the laboratory uses the single wheel ABS as experimentalreference object, established the regenerative braking simulation model with ABS andcarried out the fuzzy control algorithm and fuzzy PID control algorithm in theMatlab/Simulink, The results show that two kinds of algorithm can achieve accuratecontrol, and fuzzy PID energy recovery rate is higher, so the algorithm affects theenergy recovery and range of length. According to the actual situation, analysis thefuzzy algorithm simulation results in detail. Using Freescale MC9S12DG128as thecontrol chip developed a regenerative braking controller which’s purpose is to realizethe braking torque distribution and energy recovery. Designed the hardware andsoftware and took it on the single wheel ABS for testing. Results show that it has abetter function on ABS monitoring and energy recovery. The rate of the energyrecovery is about20%, through the fuel conversion the energy recovery can increasearound10%of the original mileage on straight road.Electric vehicle energy feedback control technology is a frontier research problem,applies to the real vehicle road still need further research.
