How to ensure the geometric accuracy of lapping tools’profiles is always difficulty and key, when we use high speed lapping with solid abrasives technology. The main content of this paper is to set up about lapping tool wearing without surface shape accuracy decreasing with high speed lapping with solid abrasives technology lapping cylindrical inter surface. And according to this theory, we can develop a lapping tool that suites cylindrical inter surface to ensure the geometric accuracy of lapping tools and optimize the high-speed grinding process.The article uses computer simulation to analysis the causes of the problems that exist cylindrical inter surface lapping tools within and has given the solutions. At the same time, using mechanics and advanced mathematics and so on, the paper sets up a cylindrical inter surface model in the type wear theory, and uses this theory to design and produce cylindrical inter lapping surface of the lapping tools, and further up optimizing the lapping process by actual lapping.By being used in practical production, the new tool has shown superior quality and better stability, surface roughness achieves Ra0.18.It certifies the validity of the abrasive wear theory type of the cylindrical inter surface. And it reduces the production processing cost.
