With the development of automobile industry and the augment of carapplication amount year after year,“black pollution”caused by theaccumulation of salvage tirs,has been generally a environmental problemaround the world. Asphalt modification which salvage tire is grinded to berubber powder is an effective way to recycle valuably lots of salvage tire.Moreover, for rubber asphalt has stronger flexibile, fatigue property andpavement performance, rubber asphalt and its mixture are widely used inthe application of road construction. On the other hand, due to thecharacteristics of climate environment in Zhejiang Province, the diseaseproblems of highway are apparently standed out. Thus, It is important toimprove and resolve the above problems asphalt pavement in roadstruction of zhejiang province by using rubber asphalt actually andurgently.According with the research project “Study on ApplicationTechnology of Rubber Asphalt Pavement (wet method) in Zhejiang Province”, setting out from composition structure of rubber powder andasphalt material material, the properties of rubber asphalt, processingtechnology and production equipment were discussed in the this study.Through the indoor test, the target proportion design about rubberasphaltAR-AC13was determined. In the meantime, compared with othermodified asphalt material.it gets a result about the performancedetermination of rubber asphalt AR-AC13. Based on indoor test, thepaper conducted the aim proportion design and the performancedetermination of rubber asphalt AR-AC13, compared with other modifiedasphalt materials, and evaluated the improvement effectiveness of rubberasphalt AR-AC13. Furthermore, It gives an integration evaluation on thepavement properties of rubber asphalt. It also provides a technical supportfor the application of asphalt mixture modified with rubber powder in thehighway pavement.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1) Put forward thetypical pavement structure designed and transformed about old asphaltpavement,which is “rubber asphalt pavement covering with a seam layer+sticky layer with modified emulsification asphalt+old asphaltpavement”.(2)Combining with some research results,put forwardmixture material’s gradation and Oil-stone ratio range of rubber asphaltwhich is suitable for zhejiang’s climate characteristics(.3)On performanceevaluation of high temperature to rubber asphalt pavement,abstained that rubber asphalt has good high temperature stability performance, afterevaluating with indoor SPT test and locale detection in a test section.(4)Through indoor SPT test and locale detection, it has been found thatrubber asphalt has superior stabilization performance of high-temperaturethan other modified asphalt.(5)Through testing on a test section ofrubber asphalt pavement,it shows that the effect of noise-reduction on therubber asphalt pavement is better than on SBS modified asphalt pavement.
