The heat supply will be commercialized by household heat metering system, whicharouses the initiative of heating companies and households, and will become an inevitabletrend in the future. Along with household control and metering, the problem of heat transferbetween neighboring households comes about as a consequence, which is difficult toaccurately measure because of its dynamic and uncertainty. So, this problem has become amajor technical problem in heat metering.In this paper, the method of combining experiment and numerical simulation has beenused. Choosing a typical residential building in Harbin and designing two groups ofexperiment to study the problem of heat transfer between households in two cases: there arenon-heating households, there are self-regulation households. According to the experimentalcase, a same building model has been established by using the Designer’s Simulation Toolkits,to simulate the heat transfer between households. With the comparison of the data, studyingthis problem by DeST has been proved to be feasible and accurate.On this basis, with the DeST, establishing one more typical residential building modeland simulating multiple cases as a control to analyze heat transfer between households on theimpact of some factors, they are different region, different location in residential buildings,the external structure, heating method, the probability of heating, the indoor designtemperature and household control.The Indoor equilibrium temperature of non-heating households, the maximum heatingload and total heat consumption of the households during heating season have been mainlyanalyzed. From the point of design, the additional percentage of design load caused by theheat transfer between households can be calculated. From the perspective of operation, theincreasing percentage of total heat consumption during the heating season also can be got.From the perspective of household heat metering, taking case of certain regional boilerplant with coal boilers in Harbin, to calculate two-tier heating price. Introducing thecorrection model of the extract-coefficient of basic heat consumption and the correction-coefficient of average heat consumption, to verify the correction of households in different locations of the building model and choose a better one. And then, by researching thestructure of two-tier heating fee on the impact of heat transfer between neighboringhouseholds, and the part of heat transfer between neighboring doors should be brought intothe basic price, so the proportion of the basic price and measurement price can be determinedreasonably.
