With the wide application of power in all sectors of national economy and theincreasing users’ requirements of power supply reliability, as an important part of thedistribution automation system, the monitoring and management effect of negative controlTerminal has been more obvious. Because the electricity produced by power stations cannotbe stored, so the consumption of electricity is determined by the production. In order toensure that energy is not wasted, the balance of power supply and demand must bemaintained in real time. Running as the most important means of technology that ensuresthe supply and demand balance, maintains stability, and ensures the safety of loading,electric power automation system gets more and more attention.This article will research and analyze China’s smart grid and terminal communicationtechnology by devising a highly intelligent power terminal using by EPON technology. Thepower terminal is composed by professional EPON devices embedded ARM processorcores chip as master of the system, external supplemented with FLASH memory, dynamicmemory RAM and passive optical interface module.This article introduces the memory read and writes procedures, as well as the NetworkControl Program, and Serial data transceiver block. At the same time, this article describedagreement split and assembly software modules which are corresponding to the DL/T645Statute and Q/GDW376.1Statute. Finally, the article described in detail the testing of theentire system.
