Ethernet Passive Optical Network(EPON)takes advantages of PON and Ethernettechnology. It is applied to electric power communication terminal access network due toits low equipment cost and high bandwidth utilization. EPON system can realizebidirectional transmission in single fiber. At the same time, the safe problem of maliciousauthorized users changing system’s setting by way of illegally obtain or MAC and OAMframe’s counterfeiting exist. Protection measures such as encryption, authentication andisolation are taken to make sure that electric power telecommunication network is safeand reliable. Another important measure of electric power telecommunication network isQuality of Service (QoS).Usually, we make assurance of safe at the cost of QoS. Therelevance of safty’s protection measures and QoS become research priorities.The author starts from EPON equipment and combines access network’s feature tostudy relevance of safty’s protection measures and QoS. First, access network’s servicesand demands are elaborated. Access network security’s requirment is put up. Then,analysis is made on access network’s networking risk from the aspects of physical andinformation safety. Based on anaylsis, targeted safety protection measures is given. Atlast, According to the standardize of International Telecommunication Union (ITU) x.902,the author selects throughput, packet loss rate and the delay as the EPON QoSparameters and analyses EPON network’s main safety protection measures influence toQoS. Distribution network communication is constructed and is accessed to test platformto verify. QoS data acquisition in EPON networking based on triple-churning andredundancy. On the premise of EPON network’s operation safty, the paper’s content canplay a guiding role on improving electric power telecommunication network’sperformance. |
