The urbanization process has been accelerated since the beginning of the 21 st century,which has continuously promoted the transformation of distribution network from traditional way to automated structure.The data generated by the automated distribution system requires the network to have better performance in collecting,transmitting,and making various control commands to lower level in real-time,efficient,and reliable manner.As the neural system of the distribution automation,the automated power distribution communicating network basically guarantees the normal operation of automated distribution.Building a firm,reliable and strong communication network is vital for power distribution automation to reliable operation.Therefore,designing and constructing a communication network for distribution automation has become a speciality of distribution automation system construction.In this paper,combining with the grid structure of distribution automation,the distribution automation and its automated distribution system were researched firstly to analyze the functions and processing modes realized by the distribution automation,so as to select a proper communication method to implement.Further analysis of demand is conducted to study the requirements of the distribution automation system for the communication network,and the requirements of the distribution automation function for the communication network,the demand for the communication network and the information security protection.The design goal of the distribution automation communication network is proposed.According to the transmission object of the distribution automation communication network,it is divided into the access layer and the backhaul network.In terms of the access layer,it is divided into wired transmission mode and wireless transmission according to the different transmission media,and designed the scheme separately.After the scheme is obtained,through the comparison of the communication mode and the networking mode,the passive optical network scheme is adopted as the main body,the power line carrier technology is used as the auxiliary,and the power wireless private network is redundant covered hybrid networking mode.After establishing the access plan,two schemes are designed for the backhaul network,and the comparison and selection are made to select a backhaul network scheme suitable for the distribution automation communication network.In this paper,the field construction,especially three types of typical construction areas in Deyang area.Due to extensive use optical network technology is the main body,this paper further studies the typical networking structure of EPON,carries out optical attenuation and reliability calculation,and designs a variety of networking protection structures.In order to meet requirements of a variety of networking protective structures,the original terminal connector box was designed and improved.At the same time,the wireless private network for power was taken used of to cover the power distribution terminals,thus to improve the online rate of power distribution automation system and reduce offline risk.After the completion of the construction of the distribution automation communication network,with the detailed test of the Electric Power Research Institute will meet the requirements of the distribution automation network.The operation of the distribution automation in the Deyang area is stable and reliable,and will further support the construction of the ubiquitous power Internet of Things platform in the future.
