| With the energy crisis growing, the interest in solar, wind andother renewable energy increase a lot, As a kind of safeand clean renewable energy, the photovoltaic are widely used. Largeamounts of money and effort are being put into research and developmentfor photovoltaic systems. The larger interest in PV systems has increaseddemand for appropriate equipment with which to test PV systems.This paper described a kind of PV array IV characteristicssimulator controlled by DSP. The main circuit of the system isDC-DC rectifier circuit. The output voltage and output current of themain circuit are sampled, and the data is passed to the DSP. TheDSP controls the output of main circuit by adjusting the PWM output ofDSP, In order to let the output of the simulator track of the PV cell IVcharacter.The paper also analyzes the simulator’s control strategy. It comparesthe performance of the system use two different methods which are theouter voltage loop, the inner current loop double-loop control and the innervoltage loop, the outer current loop double-loop control and simulates thetwo methods in MATLAB. In this paper the influence of the PIregulator’s parameters and switching frequency on the system outputperformance are also studied, and verified through simulation.The PV array simulator designed in this paper can be used forresearchers to establish experimental environment easier, and make thedesign of the inverter and the research of the maximum power pointtracking more convenient. Then the photovoltaic technology level and thecompetitiveness of the PV industry of China can be improved. |
