The life of the storage battery is the key factor for the development and application of the wind power generation system. It is necessary to improve the efficiency and the effective management of the system.Programmable System on Chip (PSoC), with low power consumption, high integration, fast response, and equipped with a number of programmable digital blocks and analog blocks, is used to analog the wind energy system and to design a new type of energy controller. PSoC controls the unit through the timer at a fixed interval to analog the natural wind by changing the frequency irregularly of the motor power supply that determines the rotation rate and the power output of the motor. The PSoC samples the voltage signals by controlling the external voltage switch of the storage battery. The voltage signals are used to control the discharge process of the storage battery, to prevent the over discharge or over charge, which could greatly improve the efficiency and lifetime of the battery.With the repetitive testing for the controller system of the wind generation system, the data show that the system have obviously increased the efficiency and the lifetime of the storage battery. The stability of the system makes it possible to practical application by the increase of the efficiency and lower cost of the system.
