The screw conveyer is a kind of continuous conveying machinery which hasn’t flexible driving component. It produces relative motion between the material and screw axis to achieve the purpose of transportation, exaltation and loading and unloading by making use of the rotation of the screw, what’s more, it can accompolish to mix, compress, knead and transport the high temperature material according to the demands. Therefore, the screw conveyer is used widely, and it become a kind of indispensible and important machannical equipment in modernization manufaction and physical distribution transportation. The screw conveyer has become a kind of indispensible and important machannical equipment in modernization provisions handling system mechanization and automation because of it’s particularity and speciality. At present, our courtry’s annual circulation of privisions is about70million ton, the main varieties are unprocessed rice, wheat, corn, soybean. With large annual circulation, wheat is second only to rice in China’s main unprocessed food grains, therefore, the text is mainly aimed at the research of horizontal screw conveyer for conveying wheat, and it has great significance for modern grain handling system.The text does detailed research on the force component happened on wheat grain and the grain’s motion component by means of the study of the mechanism of the horizontal screw conveyer for conveying wheat materials.and analyses the rational design proposal, then summarizes the impact of the horizontal screw conveyer’s main design parameter in the conveying process, on one condition, guarantees safe conveying and reduces the additional wheat materials flow and the rate of wheat broken, at the same time, gives the determination principles of every main design parameter, one can simulate and design the horizontal screw conveyer according to the determination principle. But this design method is relatively backward, it can’t improve the performance of the horizontal screw conveyer. Therefore, the text tells the optimization problems of the mechanical efficiency and the screw’s main quality by using optimum design of modern design technique,it confirms the optimum design variables, the objective function, constraint condition accordingly, and creats specific mathematical model according to the specific optimization problem in MATLAB, then it does optimum calculation analysis and obtains the optimum result,at last,the text draws the conclusion of achieving optimum target respectively through optimization results analysis in the third chapter. In the fourth chapter, the text does the static structure finite element analysis of the screw’s main body through ANS YS software, then obtains stress-strain nephogram and draws the conclusion of the dangerous section being at root of screw blade. Through the finite element research of screw’s main body in different work conditions, it summarizes the impact of the screw blade’s sickness, screw pitch, nominal diameter and filling factor to the screw’s main body stress field.besides, the text does a comparative analysis of the screw’s main body stress field optimum or not in the third chapter to verify the feasibility of the optimization program through the analysis result.The above provides a reliable theoretical basis for the design of the screw’s main body, also has important reference value and practical significance to the horizontal screw conveyer design.
