How to save electric energy is worthy of our efforts to research as energy problem is becoming increasingly prominent. Continuous conveyer equipment is the main power-consumption equipment in the port, so the power-saving technology of continuous conveyer equipment was studied in this paper according to the actual situation of the ports.In the first place, this paper introduces research background, and reviews the research and application of main power-saving technology about continuous conveyer equipment at home and abroad, then analyzes some problems existing in related techniques. Then the paper introduces the main research content.Secondly, this paper describes the characteristics and the classification of continuous conveyer equipment as well as the predominant theories. This paper also investigates the role of continuous conveyer equipment in the port, and then lays special stress on analyzing the necessity of the research on power-saving technology about continuous conveyer equipment in Tianjin Port and coal terminal company.Thirdly, this paper analyzes the background of research program on power-saving technology, and then establishes energy-saving technology research programs. There are two kinds of research programs that can be carried out at the same time: firstly, according to processing steps, the electric-energy automatic collecting and energy-use aptitude analyses system can be developed; on the other hand, the electric motors can be deployed dynamically.Fourthly, the paper introduces design details of electric-energy automatic collecting and energy-use aptitude analyses system, and then emphatically introduces its principal components; and then this paper describes the plan of electric motors, mainly introduces the components of hardware and software.Finally, this paper analyzes experimental data of electric-energy automatic collecting and energy-use aptitude analyses system, calculates the actual production cost savings by comparing the unit cost before and after taking electric-energy automatic collecting and energy-use aptitude analyses system; the paper also analyses the experimental data about the plan of electric motor, and then reaches the conclusion.
