During onshore oil exploration and offshore oil exploration,large amount of detritus is generated.After dehydrating and drying,the detritus is often conveyed by the screw conveyors.The low conveying efficiency of the machine will not only waste a lot of energy,increase production costs,but also extend the duration of the production and will have a big impact on daily production.Therefore,it is necessary to simulate and analyze the motion law of the screw conveyor particles and it is of great significance to improve the transmission efficiency of the screw conveyor.In this paper,discrete element method is used to simulate the movement characteristics of particles in screw conveyer.According to its basic principle and Hertz contact theory,a method for judging contact between particles and particles,between particles and device,and an ideal rigid material are established.The particle contact mechanics model was established under the assumption.The paper also studied the influence of screw speed?fill levels?density of particles and pitch on particle motion in the condition of single-component particles,and the liquidity of particles with different diameters and different shapes in transportation in the condition of two-component particles.The research results show that the particles always keep moving towards the outlet in the conveyor.There are two types of movement in the conveyor: translational motion and circumferential motion and the translational motion dominates.When transporting single-component particles,lifting screw speed properly can improve the efficiency of particle transport,and its effect is better than that of increasing the fill factor to improve the transport efficiency.When the particles move in the conveyor,the density will affect the movement.Proper increase of pitch is conducive to improving particle transport efficiency.When conveying two groups of particles,the smaller particle size is more conducive to transmission,Capsule-shaped particles can reduce the efficiency of particle transport.
