To solve800T jack-up lift complex block assembly sequence planning problems, savingcosts and shortening ship construction period, an assembly sequence planning method basedon genetic and simulated annealing hybrid algorithm (GASA) is proposed in this paper.In the paper, the merits and drawbacks of traditional assembly sequence planningmethod and assembly sequence planning based on the theory of modern optimization arefirstly analyzed, which determines to solve the ship assembly sequence planning problemswith modern optimization theory of intelligent algorithm; With the analyses of virtualassembly information model technology and ship building coding method, the jack-up liftassembly information model is established; The evaluation standard for the assemblysequence is analyzed, and the ship assembly process constraints section based on theassembly sequence evaluation is set; A3-D leg section of jack-up lift is modeled withCATIA modeling software to conclude the constraints of assembly; On the basis of the shipblock assembly technique constraints and geometric constraint, a model whose optimizationgoals are time needed for block assembly and cost is definitely set in the paper. Besides,based on the basic principle and advantages analyses of genetic algorithm and simulatedannealing algorithm, combined local search ability of the simulated annealing algorithm withrapid global search ability of the genetic algorithm, a hybrid algorithm for block assemblysequence planning is designed. Then the effectiveness of the hybrid algorithm is validatedwith leg section of jack-up lift assembly sequence optimization problem.Finally, based on ship block assembly sequence optimization problem, a prototypesystem is developed with the Access database software and Delphi programming software inthe paper.
