| Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) is a greenhouse gas (GHG) emissionreduction trading mechanism which is established by the international communityto slow global climate change. But there are few reports on the applications of theCDM in GSHP. Consequently, it is important to strengthen the relevant theories.Fist, this thesis introduces the theory of the CDM, which shows that the CDMis conducive to the spread the GSHP. And, properly improve the methodologyAMS-I.C for small-scale GSHP project.Second, for the same project, uses energy simulation software EnergyPlus tocompare the annual energy consumption for ground source heat pump system andconventional air conditioning system. The simulation shows that the former canreduce energy consumption109729.87KW h than the latter, which verifies thatthe ground source heat pump system can reduce energy conservation.Finally, discusses in detail the choice of baseline methodology, additionalanalysis, the project boundary, leakage, emission reduction calculations and so onwith an actual project as a CDM project. For this project, in the ten years of fixedcrediting period, it will contribute to GHG emission reductions estimated at380tCO2totally.
