As an industrial construction method, pre-stressed fabricated PC framestructure is popularized by its merits of quicker construction, better economic andenvironmental effects day by day. The conventional analysis and design ofpre-stressed fabricated PC frame are performed using the assumption thatconnections are either fully rigid or ideally pinned. But in fact, the characters ofbeam end section are between to fully rigid and ideal pin, and belong to semi-rigid.The performances of pre-stressed fabricated PC frame beam end sectionsemi-rigid on structure the internal force and deformation are analyzed with theoryand with finite-element method (FEM) based on some test data.The main contentsare as follows:Test on aseismic performance of one pre-stressed fabricated PC frame underlow reversed cyclic loading was carried out. The moment-rotation relationships forbeam end section were obtained experimentally.Based on the hysteretic curves andthe skeletal curves of frame was analyzed. The frame stress performance anddeformation were researched.A mechanics model for the frame beam with considering beam end sectionsemi-rigid is presented in the paper. Beam end section semi-rigid frame force anddeformation calculation formula were obtained. Theoretical analysis results wouldunderestimation lateral displacement of the frame Structure and decrease P-Δ effect,overestimate the beam column connection stiffness,if the semi-rigid connectionroughly was simplified as rigid analysis.By finite element software ANSYS, pre-stressed fabricated PC frame structurewas analyzed. Based on the FEM analyses of solid model, the experimentalphenomenon.the conclusion and the theoretical methods put forward in the paperwere validated. Based on the FEM analyses of pole model, the effect of beam enddifferent rotational stiffness on internal force and deformation was discussed. According to comparison between rigid frame and semi-rigid frame, someconclusion and corresponding design suggestions are put forward.
