Prestressed precast concrete frame systems composed of precast beams andcolumns of being sent to sites and installed by stretching prestressed bars throughreserved holes to form an integral stress system at construction sites, overcomes somekind of shortcomings caused by the poor reliabilities of node connections in precaststructures and the inability of stress requirements under cyclic loads, improves theoverall structural seismic performance with satisfactory deformation and energydissipation capacity. Consequently, this kind of frame systems possess higherreliability and solved the problems in the pre-cast of assembling concreteframes.Based on the pseudo-static and pseudo-dynamic test of a specimen of two floordouble-span pre-stressed fabricated concrete frame, this paper researches the seismicperformance such as bearing capacity, failure mode, hysteretic behavior, and etc. There is no obvious rigidity degradation, and the biggest story drift angle meetrequirements of code for seismic design of buildings. Based on theconsiderations for the influence of semi-rigid nodes and the limits of crack width, theresults obtained from elastic time-history analysis using Midas/Gen arecompared with the test results, indicating that the displacement of theanalytical model is close with the results of the test structure. Then to analysisthe pseudo-static result we use ABAQUS for contrast, get pseudo-hystereticbehavior.Studies show that pre-stressed fabricated concrete frame has better seismicperformance.
