Electrical connectors are generally acknowledged as one of four kinds of poor reliabilitycomponents. Its reliability level directly affects the performance of the electrical and electronicsystems. Temperature rise is one of important factors that affect the reliability of the electricalconnectors. Therefore, it is significance for electrical connectors to study the temperaturemonitoring technology.Based on the analysis of the domestic and international researches on the temperaturemonitoring technology, this paper provides a kind of test plan of the temperature of contactsadopted optical fiber sensing technology. The test device designed mainly includes the signalacquisition circuit and signal processing circuit. At different ambient temperatures, a series ofmonitoring tests on the temperature of contacts for a certain type of electrical connectors werecarried out, and the test result was analyzed.In this article we use Visual C++to write the temperature test software,signal demodulatorand IPC are used to the demodulation, acquisition and recording of the temperature signal.Theaccuracy of the test apparatus and the efficiency of the test are improved because of the testdesign.
