With the rapid development of China, the construction industry also has a high-speeddevelopment. At the same time, the construction accidents occur frequently. The accidents killthousands of people each year. The direct economic losses amount to hundreds of billion.Construction safety becomes a problem of many experts, scholars and workers. The bridgeconstruction is no exception.The hazards is the root of the bridge accident. So the hazard identification has becomethe most important prevention of bridge construction accident. Firstly, the paper explains thedefinition, scope and compostion of the hazards. Secondly, the paper explains the fault treeanalysis(FTA), operation condition risk assessment method(LEC) and the fuzzycomprehensive evaluation method(FCE).FTA has a wide range of applications in the system safety analysis. It starts from theinitial failure event and makes fault tree model. And then we analyze step by step. Graduallywe find the trigger event which causes the accident, and analyze the logical relationshipbetween these events. Finally, we use fault tree diagram to represent the logical relationshipbetween the events. The paper gives a qualitative analysis of fault tree on the hazards andmakes some preventive measures.FCE is based on fuzzy math. Some events are blurred and difficult to quantify. FCEmakes the events quantitative and comprehensive evaluation. We take FCE as the main body.We take the FTA and FCE as the supplyment. Finally, we analyze the subject with thecomprehensive evalution model.Finally, we make some managements for the construction safety. Firstly, the enterpriseshould improve the ability of self-managements. Secondly, the enterprise should establish theculture of safety. Thirdly, the enterprise should make safety-training for the workers. Fourthly,the enterprise should take the computer information management technology into use forsafety.Fault tree analysis, operating conditions risk assessment and fuzzy comprehensiveevaluation method is applied to the bridge construction hazards identification and evaluation, and achieved good results.The incidence of accidents is reduced.The harzards are processedtimely. The project is successfully completed.
