In the past over 30 years reform and opening up,building construction industry has been developing rapidly in China,and is now one pillar industry of the country.Employee in this industry surpasses 40 million in China,occupying one quarter of global construction industry employees.However,the safety management has oversights while the risk control is not complete.Every year,safety accidents keep happening in the building construction,bringing a huge loss to enterprises,big threat to workers' life,and adverse impacts upon the whole society.This paper leads the method of risk management to the safety management of building construction.It constructs six risks of class 2 by HHM(Hierarchical Holographic odeling)including personnel,equipment,material,technology,management and environmental risks identifies 31 risk elements of class 3 through combination of document enquiry and experts interview,and thus constructs risk elements for building construction in hierarechy structure,constructs index weight through AHP(Analytical hierarchy process);and finally calculates the project safety evaluation results through FCE(Fuzzy comprehensive Evaluation Method),and formulates countenneasures towards risks accordingly.Applying this risk evaluation model to the Tangshan GM project,the anslysis result is proved to be conformed to actual condition.Evaluation method for safety risks of building construction is improving,so it is with its management level.Hopefully,this research could do something to the improvement.
