With the fast development of the national economy, the requirements to energy also increase remarkably, in which the coal accounts for a large proportion. However, several factors, such as the imbalance distribution of coal resources, the limited transport capacity, the intense market competition, etc, make that the power plants have to adapt variable coals. Considering the expenses of the burner alteration, the adjustment of operation and the selection of particular coal blends, the mixed coal combustion seems to be an effective route.Nowadays, many research groups have gained much in the theory study of mixed coal combustion, but there still exists some limitations in the practical applications. In this article, the coupling correction of the coal and the furnaces properties was firstly researched, the power plants actual situations were considered, and the mixed plan of multi-coals blend based on the coals coming in and the utility boiler was built, then the optimization methods of the whole flow of the combustion in the furnace were proposed; based on the experiences of coal yard experts, the intelligent piling and taking expert data base was also built, the coal yard piling and taking automation was realized, and the coal yard management was made clear; based on the theoretical knowledge of coal blending, the safe, economic, and environment friendly dynamic coal blending model was built, then after the comparison study of enumeration method, Simple Genetic Algorithms(SGA) and Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithms-II (NSGA-II), NSGA-II was found to fit to solve the multi-objective model; the combustion optimized plan as the feedback of the power coal blending technology was proposed, and the input parameter was the coal quality data. Based on the research of these problems, the loop-locked boiler whole flow optimization of multi-coals blending mixed burn system was last built.Based on this, aiming at one power plant, the whole flow of coal blending mixed combustion optimization software system was developed combining some software design knowledge. This system was applied in the practical production and combined with the boiler optimized run, it could direct to mixed burn the off-design coals, ensure the security and economy of the boiler, remit the tight situation of coals and electric, and guarantee the demand for electricity. It has good practical significance.
