The high-voltage switchgear, as an important equipment of the safety operation for theelectric power system, its internal conductive joint overheating could cause the damage ofthe electrical equipment, and even fire or more serious power supply accident. Therefore,the implementation of the high-voltage switchgear on-line monitoring has been animportant research subject for the power system electrical equipments’ safety operation.Because of the different features between the high-voltage switchgear temperaturemeasurement system and ordinary temperature measurement system, it compares theadvantages and disadvantages of all kinds of temperature sensor, and chooses thesemiconductor digital temperature sensor. On this basis, I designed a high-voltageswitchgear wireless temperature measurement system, which can achieve the realtimeon-line monitoring of the high-voltage switchgear’s temperature. The temperaturemeasurement system is composed of transmitting terminal, receiving terminal and PCmonitoring system. The transmitting terminal majors in temperature measurement of thejoint and the wireless transmission of the temperature data; the receiving terminal majors inreceiving the data from the transmitting terminal, and transmitting the data to PCmonitoring system under MODBUS protocal through the RS-232bus; the PC monitoringsystem achieves the purpose of on-line monitoring by communicating with the receivingterminal under the MODBUS communication protocal and processing and displaying thetemperature data.The paper does some research on electromagnetic compatibility for this systemconsidering the bad electromagnetic environment of the high-voltage switchgear. Inhardware, it mainly adopts copper shell for EMSE, and makes the reference earth of thissystem and primary voltage equipotential. In software, it adds the "WATCHDOG" in thesingle chip program and smoothing filter function in PC program so as to ensure thecorrectness of the data.Finally the paper gives the test report shows that the temperature measurement systembasically meets the design requirements.
