In the field of the power transmission and distribution,the high-voltage switchgear is an indispensable electrical equipment. In the process of the power system operation, the high-voltage switchgear(HVS) is responsible for the opening and closing of the electric power line, playing an important role. During the long running process of the high-voltage switchgear(HVS),the rapid temperature rise will occur in many parts. As the circuit breaker contact of the high-voltage switchgear(HVS), when the high-voltage switchgear cabinet result in poor contact due to the certain reasons, the contact temperature will rise sharply, even burning-out it, for this it will lead to large area power outage accident. Thus it can be seen, it is necessary to monitor the temperature for the temperature measuring parts of the high-voltage switch equipment.Synthesizing the research status of the temperature monitoring of high-voltage switch equipment in recent years at home and abroad, this paper proposes a wireless temperature measurement system based on Zig Bee. The system is mainly composed of the coordinator node and the temperature measurement node. In addition, this paper designed two power supply modes for the temperature measurement node. The one is the themoelectric power generation power supply and another is the CT for electric power supply. Two kinds of thw power supply solve the problem of the temperature monitoring working in high voltage condition for the high-voltage switch equipment.By analysis and comparison, the paper proposes the wireless temperature measurement scheme based on ZigBee,and the paper have designed the hardware circuit and software program for the the coordinator node and the temperature measurement node. The temperature measuring system adopts the tree-network topology model network topologies and when existing in a big obstacle, the stability of the system will be improved through adding the router nodes. In this paper TI’s CC2530 is selected as the main control chip and the temperature data is sent to the PC by the serial port. The visual interface has been designed by using MATLAB on the PC, and the temperature collected will be taken the real-time monitoring and the temperature data will be saved in text format.
