Nowadays, the object is the most important element in the architecture field, however, the new generation of Japanese architect Kengo Kuma put forward that “anti objecet”and“defeated architecture”, which has a great relationship with some historical events, somearchitects and his child’s upbringing.Kengo Kuma’s “defeated architecture” claim construction should be well integratedinto the natural, and the architecture is just the medium of the subject and the word. Thepractice of this idea has gone through several stages of development, from the "M2" to"old mountain observatory "to" water glass "to" stone Museum ", and ultimatelyestablished the implemention—"particle architecture"for its“defeated architecture”.“defeated architecture” has a great relationship with materials, so we can find avariety of materials in Kengo Kuma’s architecture, wood, bamboo, stone, brick, steel, glass, aluminum, grass, and paper, ceramics and so on.Kengo Kuma’s “defeated architecture” is a wave of fresh blood for the modernbuilding, people reflect on the impulsive architecture field, inspired by the return of thetraditional for the chinese architects, but also for the collision of Eastern and Westernarchitectural culture.
