Comments On External Space Of The Historic Cultural Area Of Kuanzhaixiangzi After Completion

Kuanzhai Xiangzi is one of the three conservation areas in Chengdu and is a maincomposition for the whole conservation structure of Chengdu which is the HistoricCultural City of China. As the last remains of urban pattern and building structure inChengdu, Kuanzhai Xiangzi is a really folk block reflecting people original ecologicallife.As one member of the project designers, the author classified the external spacedesign again based on the practical research to gain the evaluation of user when theconservation project was completed. The author hoped to evaluate the project from theperspective of real users. The author made a summing up of the experience and lessonsand explored the influence of the project to continue the context of the historical block.Hope to provide useful help for research related.There are4parts composed this thesis:The first part introduced background design review.The second part classified the external space from the angle of dot, line, face andbody.In the third portion, the author thought the user was the theme of the space, it isthe important standard to measure the environmental quality. Through the research onthe spot, the author wanted to measure the matching degree of entity space and userbehavior.Finally, the author wanted to discuss the continuity of the historical context, thematching degree of entity space and genius loci.
