Study On The Safety Grade Assessment Of Highway Tunnel

After decades of construction, the highway tunnel has entered the period of operationand management. Unfortunately, the highway tunnel operation and management in ourcountry now lags far behind with the construction, it often appears many safety issues inoperation, and the situation of traffic safety becomes increasingly serious. Therefore, explorethe establishment of a scientific highway tunnel safety grade assessment system and method,it has important implications for scientifically understanding tunnel operation statuses,eliminating hidden dangers, improving the service level and ensuring the operational safety ofthe tunnel.In order to improve the operation safety of highway tunnel as the starting point in thearticle. Firstly, On the basis of comprehensively and systematically analysis of highwaytunnel safety factors, the article built our country’s highway tunnel safety grade assessmentindex system that include four levels130index. And used the AHP based on index scale,combined with the MATLAB software to calculate and determine the weight of assessmentindex system.Secondly, the article refer to the safety assessment method of the Euro TAP, respectivelyanalyzed the important to tunnel, tunnel structure, electro-mechanical system, trafficconditions, environmental factors, operation management and traffic safety facilities in sevenareas; adopted the qualitative and quantitative evaluation method, formulated scoringstandards of130index under the rule layer and safety classification standards of eachindividual layer of seven rule layers, and the acquisition methods of each index; formedunified safety assessment and classification methods that base on safety score.Thirdly, the article accord to the purpose and characteristics of the highway tunnel,determined the weighting method for comprehensive assessment, given the classificationstandard of highway tunnel safety grade and assessment steps.Finally, based on the above research, adopted VB developing highway tunnel safetygrade assessment system SGASHT, and used for simulation assessment of a tunnel.
