Application Study On Asphalt Pavement Design Method Based On Reliability Theory

Paving of asphlt overlay is one of the most common treatment measure for old roadreconstruction and overhaul,but the asphalt overlay structure always produce various diseasesbefore its design life,which lead to failure of pavement structure. Research on asphalt overlaystructure reliability and the structure design method based on reliability have very importantsignificance in guiding structure design,improving structure reliability and servicelifetime.This article starting from the reliability theory and structure design method based onroad structure reliability,analysed the cauculation parameters of road structurereliability,established reliability cauculation model based finit element method,proposeddesign methods for asphalt pavement and overlay structure that based on reliability,finallysuccessfully applied the design method in practical engineering.The main study andachivements of this paper are as follows：1．Introduced the theory of road reliability,holds that using the monte-carlo method tocalculate road structure reliability is best,finally through collection and statistical analysis ofdata,analysed the cauculation parameters’ distribution characteristics of road structure.2． Eastablished road structure reliability calculation model that based on finiteelement,analysed the design indexs’ reliability and the distribution characteristics of outputparameters,finally carried out parameter sensitivity analysis according to design parameterswho effect the output parameters.3．Based on aspalt pavement reliability,eastablished structure design methods for newand renovated asphalt pavements,and explained with examples.4． Carried out overall detection and analysis on the testing road of supportengineering,combined the current flexible pavement design standard and structure reliabilitydesign method,designed the paving structure of testing road.
