Study On Cement-stabilized Crushed Stones Base Road Performance And Quality Control

Because of cement-stabilized crushed stones gravel with overall stability and durability,strength and good carrying capacity，it is still be widely used in the highway construction ofour country, data show that the cement stable material and lime, fly ash stable material as arepresentative of semi-rigid materials is used as the base materials in more than90%of ourcompleted the level of highway construction. But the cement-stabilized crushed stones gravelalso has the insurmountable shortcomings,such as easy to shrinkage cracking, poor drainageperformance overloaded sensitivity, surface easily washed. Inner Mongolia region climaticcharacteristics is with dramatic changes in summer and long cold winter, the temperaturedifference between day and night large, full-year low temperature for a long time,most ofthe region is the cold region of the semi-arid climate condition,it is very conducive to the useof cement-stabilized crushed stones gravel in the region, so this paper carries research on theroad performance analysis of this area.Based on the relying project raw materials usage, this paper first goes on grading designwith cement stabilized gravel base material, then analyzes the contraction and strengthformation mechanism of cement stabilized gravel base material, tests on the shrinkage andstrength properties of cement stabilized gravel base material combined with the contractionand strength tests and verify the reasonableness of the design gradation; in order to improvethe crack resistance of the region’s cement stabilized gravel to improve the overall roadperformance of the regional road, based on the final laboratory test results of the analysis andexperience in the region test road building this paper puts forward Inner Mongolia of cementstabilized gravel quality control techniques from raw material quality control, constructionpreparation, mixture production, transportation, paving, crushed pressure and other links.
