Raw soil structure building is local materials, low-cost, simple technology, green andenvironmental protection, superior performance of insulation and insulation. However, theraw soil structure built by the traditional methods were seriously damaged in the earthquake,the application of the raw soil structure building has been limited.In this paper, we research the details of adobe wall building and rammed earth wallbuilding. We come up with the details of seismic design from simple, economic and utilityprinciple which applies to raw soil structure building. In order to facilitate research, the studyis divided into three parts: site and foundation, wall, roof, respectively, to study the three partsof the seismic structural measures and their effective connection between the measures.Improve the traditional rammed earth wall construction technology, proposed staggered floorramming, add bamboo chips ramming and straw rope ramming measure, proposed setting ofconstructional column and ring beam, large concentrated load contact with the wall positionset plate.The test results show that the proposed seismic design can significantly improve theramming wall deformation, constrained the development of cracks in the wall, to a certainextent can be done to crack rather than collapse, improve the seismic capacity of the adobestructure housing. From the fundamental purpose of enhancing the structuralintegrity,proposed design principles of the raw soil structure building, the request of the soilmaterial used in the construction of the wall, given the constraints the local structures of thewall, given some of the subsidiary component seismic measures.The raw soil structure building with simple seismic design can significantly improve theseismic capacity, and some easy measures are given to promote the implementation of seismicdesign through the study, and research results as part of National "Eleventh Five-Year"Technology Support Program and has a practical value to guide of application and extensionof t raw soil structure building.
