Damage of building is caused by variance of movement and deformation caused bymining between building and ground. In order to study mutual mechanical actionbetween foundation and ground, this paper analyzed the influence of building caused bymining in the base of turning over many research material at home and abroad, thecomputing formula of foundation’s additional stress caused by curvature deformationand horizontal deformation was derived in using knowledge of mining damage, soilmechanic, mechanic of material and so on. Also the finite element model was set up.The influence discipline of ground’s deformation to foundation was basically thesame between theoretical analysis and numerical simulation analysis. The majorinfluence factors are curvature of ground, concentrated force of horizontal wall tovertical wall, the length of foundation. The contribution of factors above exceptconcentrated force factor to foundation’s additional stress performed the same betweenpositive curve deformation and negative curve deformation, that additional stress isgreater or less when the values of factors increase or decrease. The contribution ofconcentrated force to additional stress performed different between positive curvedeformation and negative curve deformation, the concentrated forces increased theadditional stress on positive curve deformation and decrease the additional stress onnegative curve deformation.There are basal friction and lateral pressure act on foundation when the ground isat the station of horizontal deformation. When basal friction act on foundation, Theadditional stress of foundation apply to coefficient of ground and friction coefficient andthe length of foundation. And the length of foundation is the most important influencefactor. The ground becomed harder when the ground coefficient increased, then thefoundation was not esay to cut-in ground,so the additional stress of foundation increased;The friction was greater when increased the friction cofficient,so the additional stress offoundation increased; When increaseing the length of foundation, accumulation effectperform better on the additional stress,so the additional stress increased. When lateralpressure act on foundation, especially the ground is at the state of horizontalcompression deformation, the lateral pressure is huge, the magnitude is apply tofoundation depth and the properties of soil. When the foundation depth is bigger, the lateral pressure is bigger.
