Research On Calibration Method Of Air-enthalpy Test Device

The air-enthalpy test device integrates a number of measuring instruments andsystems. As a test device for measuring air-conditioner performance, it has been widelyused in air conditioner manufacturing over years. But due to the complexity ofcalibration content and conditions, and air conditioner performance index relating tomany parameters, there is no uniform standard calibration method for the air enthalpytest device until now.With the impetus of energy efficiency standards and the improvement of technicallevel, the test devices based on air enthalpy method have become an important tool forthe performance evaluation of air conditioner in the air conditioner quality control andproduct development, which proposed new requirements for the consistency andvalidity of the calibration test device based on air enthalpy method. Furthermore, howto take a simple and effective method to calibrate of the full performance of the testdevice is the focus of enterprises. The aim of this paper is to propose the globalmetering calibration method for test devices based on air enthalpy from the systempoint of view, and put forward the evaluating process for the measurement uncertaintyof calibration method.In this paper, the calibration methods of each sub-measurement system involvedin the calibration process of test device based on air enthalpy were analyzed firstly.Then calculating method of cold, heat and the evaluation method of cooling capacitymeasurement uncertainty were given. Moreover, the consistency and repeatabilityexperiments of cooling were conducted, and satisfied conclusion was obtained.All these tests proved the validity and consistency of this calibration method, whichprovided reference and instruction for normalizing the calibration method for the testdevice based on air enthalpy.The standard 《Test methods for air enthalpy testing facility》(draft)corresponding to the subject has been planned into the comment period. Research ofthe calibration method for air-enthalpy test device, not only give calibration standardwith professional authority and China’s independent intellectual property rights,provide scientific calibration methods and techniques to relevant industry practitionersand technical group; but also on basis of industrial development through the upgrade ofthe calibration technique, and promote the further development of the test device manufacturing technology of the air enthalpy method, effective control of airconditioning energy consumption and energy saving indexes, improve thecompetitiveness of domestic air conditioning, promote homebred air conditioningtechnology upgrading, contribute to environmental protection and energy saving.
