The decoration is an important form of expression of architectural art, thearchitectural style characteristics largely reflected in the architectural decoration. Chinesetraditional architecture attaches great importance to the role of decoration, in this respectalso gained brilliant achievement.The main purpose of this paper is in Chinese traditional architecture living spaceperspective, aiming at building decoration art is discussed. Decorative art as anindispensable part of architectural space, from the original era has already caused theattention of people. This paper attempts to the courtyard shape and spatial patterns of theCourtyard of the Cao Family as the center clues,analysis of the architecture of decorativeart,seek the meeting point of the architectural decoration and the living space.First of all, the origin and development of the traditional architecture andarchitectural decoration is elaborated, clear the unique characteristics and form about thetraditional architectural art, and then lay the foundation for the late explore to thedecorative art.
