With the increase of the population of the world, per capita GNP and per capitaconsumption level are adding, and so is the average energy consumption. The demand ofcoal, oil and gas will gradually increase. In this case, our main task is to seek new andpure energy to replace these. As we can see from the survey, solar energy can be directlyconverted to electric energy. The study to the solar cell has been our key researchcontent.It also becomes our hot topic in the research that the test to the solar cell.This subject is the research, high precision PV test system, bases on the FPGA. Theprimary projects include that(1) In terms of hardware design: According to performance indicators for eachsub-unit, select chip types and design hardware schematic and PCB layout. The designincludes the necessary electrical level conversion, signal isolation, impedancetransformation and some other signal-conditioning circuit based on the analog and digitalcharacteristics; the AD conversion, analog to digital isolation circuit; the data cache andstorage circuit.(2) In terms of software design: In the FPGA development environment, usingVerilog language and code all the sub-module in a modular approach to control all thehardware resources. After testing all the sub-modules, connect them together and completethe entire project.(3) In fitting of solar cell, this paper compares several arithmetics, using Matlab tobuild mathematical models of photovoltaic cells TDB100model. In the VA sample mode,using the mathematical model, Combination of Ant Colony Algorithm (ACA) and theGenetic Algorithm (GA) the simulation curves fit well with the model curve.The result demonstrates that all design requirements are met, has stable and reliableoperation, and has a certain practicability.
