Study On Asphalt Mixture Workability And Construction Quality Control

In the construction of asphalt pavement, the technical staff often rely on the previousengineering experience or recommendations construction technology on the asphalt pavementcompaction, and they can’t combine with asphalt mixture properties to give a best compactiontechnology, so it leads to various diseases in the early stage of asphalt pavement.First of all, in connection with all kinds of factors on the workability of asphalt mixture,this paper had done many asphalt mixture workability test with different asphalt, gradationand different temperature. At the same time, based on the workability of matrix asphaltmixture, put forward a method to determine optimum mixing and compaction temperature ofmodified asphalt mixture, and use rotating instrument (SGC) method to determine thecomparison, verify the rationality of the method proposed in this paper.Secondly, according to compare rotary compaction test piece includes compactiondensification curve characteristic parameter calculation between different temperature anddifferent asphalt mixture. Analyzed the influence on compaction properties with differentasphalt, gradation and temperature, while the analysis of the temperature on Asphalt MixtureCompaction Characteristics of sensitivity, the results show that, the temperature on themixture the influence of compaction characteristics and work behavior, further validation ofthe temperature on asphalt mixture performance sensitivity.Thirdly, based on the workability of the asphalt mixture in different temperature, putforward the optimum temperature at initial pressure, pressure compound, final pressure, whilein the field test temperature change of asphalt mixture, predict the effective compaction timeof asphalt mixture pavement. At the same time, summed up the asphalt concrete pavementjoints compaction technology, low temperature process and longitudinal slope compactionprocess, it has important practical significance to improve the compaction technology ofasphalt pavement.
